The Show

hen fellow musical theatre vets Eric Leviton (Kinky Boots, Damn Yankees, Seussical) and Michael Kostroff (The Producers, Les Misérables) teamed up to present a one-night-only revue of funny songs for their friends, they had no idea that A Little Traveling Music would go on to play venues on both coasts, entertain hundreds, and win them a cabaret award. Years later, the show has retained the rag-tag charm and non-stop silliness that has made it the rare crowd pleaser it is.

eminiscent of the Hope and Crosby road pictures, the show hangs on an unapologetically flimsy plot:Two con men on the lam pass themselves off as a well-traveled song-and-dance team so they can hide out until the coast is clear. There are fibs, flubs, and feuds as they dust off the old act. And with oddball numbers like "Mention My Name in Sheboygan," "The 10:10 fromTen-Ten-Tennessee," and " They're Wearing 'em Higher in Hawaii," A Little Traveling Music is an evening packed full of genuine belly laughs.
